Junior Commodity Operator

WE are working with a leading Metal Trading Company dedicated to providing innovative solutions in the commodities market. As our client continues to expand their operations, they are seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our their team as a Junior Commodity Operator.

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior commodity operators in executing trades and managing commodity transactions.
• Handle letters of credit and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
• Coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of commodities to clients.
• Monitor market trends and analyze data to support trading decisions.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and inventory levels.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize trading strategies and enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen interest in the commodities market.
• Experience with letters of credit and knowledge of logistics procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
• Prior experience in commodities trading or related field is a plus but not required.
