Location: Redbridge, East LondonSalary: £95.78 - £103.29Contract: Full-time | Part-time | ContractStart date: May 2024
About the role:We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our supportive, hardworking, and successful Cognition and Learning Team. As part of our Specialist Services, you'll play a crucial role in improving outcomes for children and young people with complex cognition difficulties in Key Stages 2-5.
Responsibilities:

• Model, advise, and deliver effective strategies/interventions to support children and young people
• Work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and specialist teachers
• Provide direct support to students, both in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
• Manage behavior and ensure the safeguarding of students
• Create a stimulating, safe, and nurturing learning environment

Requirements:

• Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable)
• Good numeracy/literacy skills (Functional Skills Level 2 or above or equivalent)
• Understanding of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)
