Our client, an award-winning education services business, is currently recruiting for a Lead People Partner on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company who provide fantastic services within the education industry.

This will be a full-time position based in Yorkshire (location negotiable), with a salary of £45,000 - £48,000 per annum. This position is remote, with occasional site travel required.

The ideal candidate will ideally have experience working within the education sector, be CIPD L5 qualified and have a full UK Driving License

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Leading and mentoring the HR Advisory team to provide advice and support on employee relations case management; identifying and mitigating risk to customers
  • Delivering a high-performing and trusted Employee Relations service to all external partners, providing leaders with meaningful analytics to enable business improvement
  • Contributing to the organisation’s strategic plans to reduce attrition and implement initiatives to improve engagement, build strong employee relations and employee retention
  • Leading on the development and implementation of People services policies and procedures
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with the business area to identify current and future HR related projects
  • Managing change initiatives and lead on organisational restructures
  • Demonstrating role modelling of, and be an ambassador for HR Business Partnering across the function and region

Skills, knowledge and experience required:

  • Ideally have experience working in the education sector
  • Desirably CIPD L5 qualified
  • Experience leading on change projects including restructures and redundancy programmes
  • Clear and confident communicator, both oral and written

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday - Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm, Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
