My client, a TTP Company, is dedicated to advancing the manufacturing of cell and gene therapies through innovative technology solutions. We are seeking a Lead Scientist to join our Cell Processing team and contribute to our mission of enabling scalable, cost-effective, and efficient manufacture of life-saving therapies.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with customers to understand process requirements
  • Develop and implement technical transfer plans
  • Drive system architecture and engineering design requirements
  • Define user and functional requirements for next-generation manufacturing systems
  • Coordinate and execute process development work packages
  • Ensure adherence to lab procedures and support risk assessment activities
  • Foster strong partnerships with collaborators and guide integration requirements assessments

Requirements:

  • MSc in Biochemistry/Immunology/Bioprocessing/Biomedical engineering or related discipline (PhD desirable)
  • Practical experience in R&D within an industrial setting
  • In-depth understanding of cell therapy manufacturing/process development and technical transfer
  • Proficiency in flow cytometry, cell culture, T cell biology, Design of Experiments (DoE), and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
  • Experience leading complex technology projects
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
