Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

Location: Cambridge

Salary: £20,534 - £21,764 per annum

The Role

The School has an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join them at the Upper school to cover maternity leave.

A successful Learning Support Assistant will have the capability to gain the trust and confidence of pupils, be supportive, non-judgemental, and positive.

The School is committed to providing every pupil with the opportunity to achieve their full potential and the Learning Support department aims to offer a secure and relaxed learning environment to promote pupil confidence, self-esteem, and independent learning.

The post offers an exciting opportunity for an applicant to provide learning support to high ability pupils and deal efficiently with associated administration. Learning Support lessons are usually on a 1-2-1 basis, but occasionally small group work is required. The role will involve preparing and delivering sessions as well as administrative tasks relating to learning support.
