Michael Hardy Letting Agents (part of Haslams Group) are seeking a Lettings Negotiator to join us in our Wokingham branch. The ideal candidate will have either some current or past experience in Lettings or a passion for property and a willingness to learn.

You will be an integral member of a team of eight other Lettings professionals based in Wokingham, and part of the 40 Lettings colleagues employed across the Haslams Group, contributing to our future growth.

Person Specification

  • Some experience or interest in the property industry
  • Current or previous experience in sales or business generation
  • Dynamic and self-motivated
  • People first attitude and excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Good attention to detail
  • Problem solving abilities
  • IT literate
  • Full, clean driving licence and access to your own car which is or can be insured for business use
  • Propertymark level 3 technical award desirable but not essential. We will support you to gain your industry qualification

Key Responsibilities

  • Competently booking and following up viewings, providing landlord feedback daily
  • Competently booking valuations, obtaining detailed background information on the landlord’s situation
  • Undertaking valuations, dependent on experience level, or progression opportunities to work up to this
  • Working closely with the Sales department to nurture relationships with investor buyers
  • Maintaining and managing personal and office diaries
  • Managing personal and shared email inboxes
  • Conducting viewings to a set standard, following company procedures
  • Competently putting together new let paperwork

Hours of work

  • 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday
  • 9am to 1pm every third or fourth Saturday on a rota basis
