Lifecycle Technical Manager - PFI NHS - Romford. Salary to £70k + Car or £5200 allowance + 5% bonus

Based at a large acute hospital in Romford but with responsibility for two additional smaller sites in Roehampton, you will provide Technical Management support to the delivery and development of M&E lifecycle replacement projects for these PFI sites that are between 15 and 20 years old and they run until 2034 and 2037.

Current lifecycle spend across the three sites is c£10m a year and typical projects include AHU replacements, LED upgrades, CCTV replacement, Operating Theatre overhauls.

This contract has the maintenance covered by another provider, so will need someone comfortable dealing with stakeholders in order to manage this relationship appropriately, particularly when planning and agreeing future lifecycle expenditure.

You are supported by a PM for each site to work with you to challenge the service delivery partner on their maintenance regimes to maximise the life of the assets and to justify lifecycle expenditure.

You will have a high level of technical knowledge covering complex systems in a healthcare environment, Technical Asset Management experience and commercial knowledge.
