Machine Operative

The Recruitment Co are recruiting for skilled operatives to join our client in Bolton who develop, manufacture & and sell services of automotive components.

£27,945 rising to £29,063 after completion of probation period.

In this role you will be responsible for manufacturing and testing parts or products using manual and automated equipment, to perform other processes as required, Quality checks / Machine checks and record results, carry out repairs/adjustments as required.

You are mainly responsible for:

• To prepare jigs, tools and measuring equipment, and set up equipment within your process
• To assemble within specification and in line with Standard Operating Procedures
• Adjust and check products in-process throughout operation
• To adjust equipment and inspect it to ensure running correctly, performing repair if necessary
• To assist correct and repair any defect, and generally maintain machine to required standard

Salary: £27,945

Shifts: Rotating shifts weekly. Continental shifts of AM, PM and Nights.
