Jonathan Lee is exclusively working with Suntory to help them hire Maintenance Engineers for their engineering department. Suntoryis a global company with over 125 years experience, creating new value and always providing high-quality iconic products to enrich the everyday lives of our consumers. As an engineer, you will have a direct impact on the quality, characteristics and availability on shelves of our much-loved products Ribena and Lucozade. This full-time maintenance Engineer role is based in Coleford and offers an attractive total package of £50,000 to £55,600 plus excellent benefits.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be a member of a team dedicated to the efficient production of high-quality products under the direction of the Engineering line owner.

In your first few weeks in the Maintenance Engineer role, you can expect to:

  • Demonstrate at all times safe working behaviour as part of the Maintenance Engineering team
  • Ensure product quality is assured through the appropriate maintenance activities
  • Help develop planned maintenance activities that drive continuous improvement of the reliability of our primary and secondary packaging assets
  • Support the development of SAP PM and other systems to drive planning and control and focused improvements

You should apply if you can demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and behaviours:

  • ONC/HNC within Engineering Discipline and at least 2 years of experience within an engineering-based field (FMCG environment would be an asset)
  • An Electrical or Multi Skilled Engineering Bias. 
  • Good communication skills, able to build strong relationships at all levels of organisation and influence
  • Inquisitive mindset, challenging status quo and pro-active
  • Learning mindset, looking to better yourself and take on challenges that will support your growth
  • Base knowledge of process control systems and /or competence to adapt & learn
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to embrace new technology
  • Good levels of dexterity and capability to perform manual handling operations
