Maintenance Operative - Multi-Skilled

Your new company:
Hays are partnered with an globally recognised school, that are looking for a Maintenance Operative to begin immediately.
(Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check)

Responsibilities include:

• Carry out general maintenance tasks across the campus encompassing decoration, carpentry and lock repairs, basic plumbing, replacing fixtures and fitting
• Ensure that materials required to carry out maintenance works are procured via the Maintenance Manager in a timely manner
• Ensure that all personal protective equipment and tools are maintained in good working order
• Adhere to ACS health and safety policies and risk assessments
• Provide immediate assistance (outside of work hours) in case of emergencies
  

What you need to succeed:

• A trade qualification or minimum of 5 years' experience in the maintenance of buildings
• Competently skilled and knowledgeable about plumbing, tiling, carpentry and decoration
• Knowledge of COSHH, Manual Handling and general Health and Safety legislation
• Full UK driving licence.
