The position available is for a Management Accountant, paying between £30,000 to £34,000 p/a. This role will focus on financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting within a vibrant and engaging team.

Our client is a non-profit organisation located in the centre of Halifax with links to public transport.

Description

The Management Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Develop and monitor internal control systems.
  • Participate in strategic data analysis and research.
  • Manage the preparation of the company's budget.
  • Provide financial analyses as needed for pricing decisions and contract negotiations.
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.
  • Support month-end and year-end close process.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
  • Proficiency in financial software.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
