Hays are recruiting for a rapidly growing technology company based in Greater Manchester, who are looking for a management accountant to join their team on a temporary basis. Your new role

The Management Accountant, reporting to the Finance Director, will oversee the day-to-day financial management of the business.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:

• Provide accurate management reporting for key decision-making.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Preparation and posting of journal entries.
• Perform prepayments.
• Produce balance sheets.
• Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flow and variance analysis.
• Fixed asset accounting.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will possess strong experience in management accounts and ideally have experience working within a shared service centre. Effective communication skills at all levels, including stakeholders, are essential, along with strong Excel experience. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and work to tight deadlines.
