Management Accountant

RG Consultancy are working with an SME manufacturing company based in Runcorn who are looking for a Management Accountant to add to the finance team. This role plays a key part in the performance of the business and would be ideal for someone who wants to have an impact in ensuring they stay profitable as a company.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Management Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the accounts department, supervising a small team of 2 ledger clerks and producing the monthly management accounts.

Duties include:

• production of monthly management accounts
• control of the balance sheet
• supervision of ledger clerk team of 2
• stock reporting
• casting analysis
• preparation of payroll information for processing externally

This Management Accountant role would be suited to someone who holds AAT level 4 or is partway through CIMA/ACCA and has experience producing management accounts.
