Job Title: Management Accountant (Fixed-Term Contract)

Location: Cornwall, UK (Hybrid Basis)

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Are you a skilled Accountant seeking an exciting opportunity in Cornwall? We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our client's team on a fixed-term contract basis for 10-12 months. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to enjoy the stunning surroundings of Cornwall while contributing to a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide financial analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive process improvements.
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualified or part-qualified in ACCA/ACA/CIMA.
  • Proven experience in management accounting roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
