Our client is looking for a Management Accountant in Nottingham, reporting to the Head of Finance on a temporary basis and starting as soon as possible.

You will play a vital role in our client's Finance Team.

The successful Management Accountant will be working closely with the Head of Finance to handle all functions related to finance.

Client Details

Our client is a well known business within the Retail industry based in Nottingham.

They are offering a salary up to £50,000 (DOE) and an immediate start.

For the successful Management Accountant, this is an initial 6 month temporary role with the potential for an extension.

The role will also support with a business system implementation.

Description

The key responsibilities for the Management Accountant:

  • Production of monthly management accounts
  • Posting journals
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Cashflow
  • Inventory control
  • Managing fixed assets register
  • Managing deferred revenue and revenue tracker
  • Managing ledgers
  • Bank reconciliations
  • VAT returns
  • Ad-hoc duties that may be required
  • Support with business implementation

Profile

The successful Management Accountant:

  • Be immediately available
  • Experience in a Management Accountant position
  • Producing management accounts
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in Navision
  • Experience with Business Central
  • Experience with system implementation
