A Management Accountant is required for a retail industry leader in Biggleswade This role will involve financial analysis and reporting, budgeting, and strategic planning.

Description

Management Accountant:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and financial statements.
• Assisting with the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process.
• Performing financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Working closely with the accounting & finance team to improve processes and systems.
• Supporting the development of junior team members.
• Participating in various projects and initiatives as required.
• Reporting directly to the Finance Director.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• Studying toward professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience working in a retail or related industry.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive approach and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
