Management Accountant

• Annual Salary: £50K

• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, 08:30am - 5pm

My well established client is seeking a qualified Accountant to join their dynamic team at a leading automotive services group. This role is ideal for a professional with strong commercial experience and a background in the motor trade. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounting process and will play a key role in the financial performance reporting within the company.

• Managing the accounting process, including raising sales invoices, processing purchase invoices, and inputting journal entries.
• Conducting account reconciliations and being responsible for debtors & cash collection.
• Preparing cash flow forecasts and submitting quarterly VAT returns.
• Reporting on weekly and month-end financial performance.
• Managing new vehicle funding and importing information into management reporting software.
• Preparing ad-hoc reports and analysis for the Group Finance Director.
• Agreeing on timescales, costs, and resources for various financial activities.

• QBE or Qualified Accountant (minimum AAT) with strong commercial experience.
• Experience with dealership & workshop software, specifically Pinewood.
• Keyloop/Kerridge experience is helpful
• Good leadership skills and the ability to use initiative and solve problems effectively.
• Business management skills and excellent reporting abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel with exceptional analytical skills.
• A good understanding and experience of the automotive industry.
• A working knowledge of automotive industry accounts and management programmes.
