Marketing and Communications Business Partner

Location:            Leicester

Salary: £43,000 to £54,395- (usually appoint at bottom of the banding)

Hours:  Full Time- Hybrid working

Contract Type: Permanent

We are seeking MarComms Business Partner to join our newly created Business Partnering team. This is a pivotal role where you will be instrumental in supporting faculties to meet their business requirements and objectives. As a strategic partner, you will be a key member of both the faculty and directorate’s wider leadership teams, managing the marketing and student recruitment strategy.

• Lead on the faculty’s student recruitment, marketing, and communication plans and activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and ensure appropriate solutions are deployed.
• Directly manage a small team focused on supporting the faculty’s marketing and recruitment needs.
• Work as part of a wider partnering team to deliver a highly efficient and effective service across the institution.
• Align team efforts with strategic objectives and inspire creativity and innovation within the team.
• Stay ahead of industry trends to maintain a competitive advantage.

• Education to Degree Level, Ideally with a formal marketing qualification.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in developing and managing effective teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage positive stakeholder relationships.
• Extensive experience in delivering marketing/student recruitment, communications, and events strategies.
• Proficiency in utilising data and insight for decision making.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Innovative and creative thinking with the ability to analyse and prioritise user requirements and stakeholder needs.
