Do you have modelling and simulation experience, and are you seeking a new job in Gaydon? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Modelling and Simulation Data Engineer, and the contract role comes with a rate of £33.91 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35).

As a Modelling and Simulation Engineer, you will be part of the Model Delivery team within Digital Engineering and be responsible for providing SIMPACK and CarMaker Master Models to the business to support virtual engineering of all vehicle programmes.

In your first few weeks in this Modelling and Simulation Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Parameterise standard MBS and CarMaker model templates with vehicle programme specific data, test and validate the operation of the populated models
• Provide regular status updates to all project stakeholders
• Proactively identify quality issues and drive resolution of any issues identified
• Escalate issues preventing the on-time delivery of models.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills for technical issue resolution
• SIMPACK knowledge or similar MBS (Multi-Body System) software
• Knowledge of IPG CarMaker simulation software
• Experience using Matlab and Simulink simulation tools.
