We're looking for a highly motivated individual with strong, proven underwriting skills to join our team in Loughborough.

We're seeking an experienced, confident, and customer-focused Underwriter to join our team. This role is dedicated to providing first-class service to our internal and external customers by underwriting and processing mortgage applications across the Society's product range for both direct and intermediary business.

This is an ideal opportunity for an individual with strong underwriting experience who can contribute to continuous improvement within the mortgage function. A background in financial services or an associated sector would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite and process mortgage applications.
  • Provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the mortgage function.
Requirements
  • Proven underwriting experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team player with a 'can do' attitude.
  • Background in financial services or an associated sector (preferred).

Working Pattern

We offer a hybrid working pattern for this position. The successful candidate will be expected to attend our Head Office in Loughborough a minimum of 3 days each week.
