Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Mortuary Technician in Greenwich. This is a contract without a scope for extension working full time hours.

The job:

• Provide anatomical pathology assistance to colleagues and pathologists
• Admission, measuring and registration of the deceased ensuring they are identified, cared for and stored in accordance with HTA guidelines
• To assist colleagues with the delivery and maintenance of a high quality safe, efficient, and effective mortuary service
• To develop and utilise specialist knowledge and experience related to the work undertaken
• To maintain an up-to-date knowledge and awareness of recent developments in Pathology

The candidate:

• To have an understanding of current mortuary practice and have knowledge of routine post-mortems, high risk cases, Coroner's cases, forensic work
• Must hold or be work towards the Diploma in APT
• Have significant current practical mortuary / bereavement experience
• Being UKDVI and AHCS registered is preferred
