We are looking for a VEHICLE DISMANTLER to join our business based in Benfleet, Essex.

MUST be fit as heavy lifting involves working under pressure in a busy environment.

Main Purpose of Role:

Dismantling salvage vehicles

Cleaning marking parts

Packing parts

Housekeeping

Other duties.

Key Duties:

To ensure that all jobs are completed within the estimated times. To comply with Company Housekeeping and Health and Safety regulations and policies applicable to this position and working environment.

Key Skills:

To have mechanical knowledge and to be aware of the various car makes, models and components. To have good interpersonal skills and be a team player, as the role will include working within a small team. To have a good knowledge of relevant Health & Safety procedures. Relevant training will be given depending on the individual's experience and ability to meet the job description.

Main work in a dismantling bay/ workshop/warehouse.

Previous dismantling or mechanic experience is essential.

MUST be fit as heavy lifting involves and able to work under pressure in a busy environment.

You MUST have a driving license

Upon completing a six-month probation period, candidates will be offered a permanent role within the company.

Mondays-Fridays, some Saturdays.

Job Type: Full-time. Salary £20000-£30000 per annum. Saturdays pay extra

Salary Depends on experience, knowledge how much extra effort you are prepared to put into the job and how ambitious you are.

Benefits:

A complimentary drum of petrol/diesel every 2/3 weeks, 28 days annual holiday allowance, free car park, social events, pension scheme.
