Gi Pro are proud to be working in partnership with a leading UK manufacturer. This company has been established since 1970 with over 50 years being experts in what they do. Due to an expansion, they are now looking to expand their team with another multi skilled maintenance engineer.

Job Role:
As an Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be tasked for carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for all equipment on site.

Typical Duties will involve:

• Ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on production machines.
• Troubleshooting malfunctions by observing machinery in operation and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Maintaining the fabric of the building and inspecting/maintaining services (water, electric, and air).
• Reacting quickly to production breakdowns and keeping relevant personnel informed.
• Assisting other departments to meet production requirements.
• Using mechanical and electrical knowledge to design and manufacture/fabricate jigs and fixtures.
• Fabricating repair parts using machine shop instrumentation.
• Managing equipment, parts, and supplies efficiently.

Desirable experience

• City and Guilds 2330 in electrical installation.
• NVQ Electrical Installation.
• 17th BS7671:2008 certification
• Experience with ProtoTRAK CNC mill controls or similar systems.
• Knowledge of PLC programming (Desirable)
