The Role

Reporting to our Sales & Marketing Director, our New Business Development Manager will be responsible for the generation of new business sales in line with our sales strategy for our vehicle conversion division that will lead to growth across this division.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals, consistently delivering results
  • Develop and negotiate business proposals, contracts, and agreements
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends
  • To work closely with the customer to gain a full understanding of their requirements and translate these into detailed vehicle specifications and quotations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, prospects, and client interactions in our CRM system
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and forecasts for management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align strategies and achieve shared objectives

The Person:

  • Proven experience in a target driven new business sales role
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • High level of communication, interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Flexible and can-do attitude
