I am representing a rapidly expanding insurance company that has recently won a prestigious industry award. With UK wide presence and a network of branches, their Manchester operation is based out of professional city centre-based offices and focuses on delivering mid -corporate insurance solutions via a diverse panel of brokers across the North West region.

Having achieved impressive growth during the last twelve months and in view of their ongoing plans for expansion they are now keen to attract a Commercial Underwriter to join their highly experienced new business team. Focusing on underwriting Commercial Combined risks you will be responsible for developing a profitable book of business via a dedicated panel, predominantly comprising independent brokers.

Applicants to this role should possess robust knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance and will ideally have previous experience working a results focused trading environment. The ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with brokers is essential, in order to meet defined new business objectives.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward thinking and award-winning business with sophisticated technology solutions that aid their underwriters in identifying and converting profitable risks. Joining the business at this key stage in their expansion presents a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to capitalise on career advancement.
