Reed Education are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join a lovely school just outside of Scunthorpe. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in childcare and experience working in nursery/EYFS settings. This role offers a start date of 03/06/2024 with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate in September 2024.

The school is one-form entry and has lower than average pupil premium. You will work in an EYFS department with qualified and experienced members of staff.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Observe, assess, and record each child’s progress, sharing outcomes with parents and colleagues.
  • Maintain a clean and organised setting that meets health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to create a cohesive and supportive environment.
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in training and development opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working in a nursery setting.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
