Job Title: Nurture Provision Teacher

Location: Merton, London

Salary: £190-£220pd

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Nurture Provision Teacher to join our team in Merton. The ideal candidate will have a primary teaching background with significant experience working with children with Autism and complex Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. While experience in SEND specialist settings is beneficial, we also welcome applications from teachers who are interested in transitioning into SEN education.

Responsibilities:
- Teach core subjects with confidence and adaptability to meet the individual needs of students (year 5 and 6).
- Provide a nurturing, patient, empathetic, and holistic approach to education.
- Act as a positive role model to support communication and social skills development.
- Utilize experience with Attention Autism and phonics to enhance teaching and learning.
- Develop appropriate strategies to support students in achieving their academic and personal goals.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Primary teaching experience with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching children with ASD and complex SEMH needs, preferably in a mainstream or SEND specialist setting.
- Familiarity with Attention Autism and phonics methodologies is highly beneficial.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a practical approach to engaging students.
- Passion for teaching children with special educational needs and a commitment to their success.
