Packing Engineer
Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our company based in Frome who are actively looking to recruit a Packing Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Lead packing engineer, you will be working Pittman rotating 12-hour shifts within our retail production facility:
- Attend machine breakdowns efficiently and provide effective measures to ensure issues are resolved.
- Carry out PPM, corrective and improvement actions on all packing machines.
- Deliver and develop effective re-active maintenance, repairs & improvements.
- Generate and complete work orders on the CMMS.
- Help develop and implement effective PM schedules.
- Support and achieve the engineering KPI's.
What you will need to succeed
- Multi-skilled automation skills on packing equipment or equivalent
- Excellent fault finding and route cause analysis skills.
- Experience of working in a FMCG environment
- Some supervisory experience would be beneficial.
- Comfortable in autonomous decision making and team working.
