Paralegal / Litigation Team

Liverpool

£19,000 - £21,000

My client is currently seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join their Litigation team in the Liverpool office for the position of Paralegal/Legal Support Assistant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general legal and administrative support, which includes tasks such as typing and file opening. Additionally, they will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the team, assisting in client communications, updating on case progress, and coordinating with courts, experts, and agencies.

Responsibilities:
  • Appointment making
  • Handling calls
  • Preparing document bundles for hearings
  • Engage with clients, both in person and remotely, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills. Diary management, dealing with billing processes, and attending court to assist counsel and/or clients.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter, ready to actively contribute to the team's success. They should possess strong interpersonal skills, be able to thrive in a vibrant team environment, and exhibit flexibility to accommodate client or team needs. Effective time management skills are crucial for prioritizing heavy workloads.

It is desirable for candidates to have a minimum of 12 months of experience working in a legal practice. Familiarity with Case Management Systems and Laserforms, as well as experience with Excel spreadsheets, would be advantageous.
