Job Title: Paralegal - Senior Brand Protection

My client is expanding their Technology, IP, and Information team and seeking a Senior Brand Protection Formalities Paralegal to join them. Their international Technology Intellectual Property and Information (TIPI) group is highly respected globally. With their deep expertise, they have earned an outstanding reputation in the field of IP and IT. The team advises global clients on a broad spectrum of IP issues throughout the business life cycle, covering trade marks, designs registration, licensing arrangements, regulatory advice, patent litigation, and technology-related matters.

As a Senior Brand Protection Formalities Paralegal, your key responsibilities will include managing trade mark and design filing, prosecution, and registry formalities tasks in collaboration with associates/attorneys and partners. Additionally, you will address queries from fee earners and team members regarding trade mark and designs formalities matters. You will also provide support for the trade mark application and registration process, which involves preparing and arranging Powers of Attorney, conducting basic trade mark searches, liaising with IPOs and foreign associates, managing database entries, and follow-ups. Furthermore, you will be responsible for completing and submitting registry forms for new trade mark and design applications, oppositions, assignments, and other records.
