A large multinational organisation in the logistics industry is looking for an experienced Part Qualified or Qualified Management Accountant for a Temp to Perm position. Ideally candidates will be immediate or on 1-2 weeks notice

As the Management Accountant you will be responsible for:-

  • Processing/reviewing of monthly journals, accruals and prepayments
  • Completing and consolidating P&Ls across company
  • Balancing of intercompany accounts with transactional teams, other management accounts and group entities
  • Responsible for variance analysis
  • Ensuring the balance sheet reconciliations are prepared and signed off
  • Working closely with the finance business partner on annual budgets
  • Submitting entity Vat Returns
  • Working closely with the transactional accounting teams and guiding them on the key coding corrections

Ideal candidates will be

- Part Qualified CIMA / Part Qualified ACCA with a an underlying degree in finance/accounting

- Background in Cargo/Aviation/Industrial services or manufacturing industry

- Demonstrable skills in Management accounting covering consolidations.

- Strong interpersonal skills and commercial and business acumen

- Excellent Excel and modelling skills

- Ideally have worked in the cargo/ aviation industry.
