Thriving Company Seeks Payroll & Accounts Assistant (Part-Time, Hybrid)

Do you have a knack for numbers and enjoy supporting a growing team?

We're a rapidly expanding company searching for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Payroll & Accounts Assistant on apart-time basis. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working remotely with occasional onsite presence for training and meetings.

What You'll Do:

  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for over 100 part-time and casual staff.
  • Assist with staff inquiries regarding pay, tax, holidays, and pension contributions.
  • Review and approve processed purchase invoices for accurate coding and balancing.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns to HMRC.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in payroll processing and data entry.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles (a plus).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software (training provided if needed).
