Robertson Bell are proud to be supporting an impressive organisation in the Education sector as they go out to market for a Payroll Assistant on a temporary to permanent contract. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a vibrant payroll team, whilst on a flexible hybrid working pattern.

The key duties of the Payroll Assistant will be;

• Processing and updating new starters, leavers, and changes to employees salaries.
• Assisting the team with running two busy monthly payrolls.
• Supporting the Payroll Manager with TPS returns on a monthly basis, as well as uploading monthly contribution reports. 
• Using the payroll system Oracle.

The successful candidate will have;

• Prior experience working in a similar payroll position where you have a clear understanding of LGPS and TPS returns.  
• Experience working in a busy payroll team with a high quantity of employees on the monthly payroll.
• An understanding of payroll calculations.
• Be immediately available, or on a short notice period.
