Page Personnel are currently partnering with a market leading property business, based in Ruthin, who are looking to recruit a Payroll Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for running payrolls on a weekly and monthly basis.

Description

The Payroll Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Accurately processing weekly and monthly data for over 450 employees
  • Updating payroll records
  • Assisting with the preparation of statutory returns
  • Resolving discrepancies and queries, escalating when necessary
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Keeping up to date with any changes in law and legislation
  • Ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times

Profile

A successful Payroll Assistant should have:

  • A proven track record within a similar role
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of payroll software and systems.
  • An understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
