CMA Recruitment Group is working with a well-known industrial business based near Fareham, Hampshire, to help them recruit a Payroll Assistant on a 12-month fixed term contract. 

What will the Payroll Assistant role involve:

  • Running the end-to-end payroll for c300 employees (weekly); 
  • Setting up new starters and leavers;
  • Sending out payslips through Sage;
  • Raising P45s;
  • Importing information to and from Excel. 

Suitable candidate for the Payroll Assistant:

  • Solid experience in payroll to be able to hit the ground running;
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, demanding payroll role, especially for the first two days of the week;
  • Experience with CIS would be an advantage but not essential; 
  • Due to the office location applicants must have access to a car.
