Following the acquisition of Brookson by People2.0, our People Team's responsibilities have expanded to cover the EMEA region.

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to oversee the UK and wider EMEA payrolls.

Our Warrington office (WA1) is easily accessible by car and a 10-minute walk from the nearest train station. We offer hybrid working, with a minimum requirement of 2 days in the office and the flexibility to work from home the rest of the week.

What will you be doing as a Payroll Specialist?

Payroll Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the end-to-end payroll management, ensuring accurate and prompt payments.
  • Collaborate with payroll providers across EMEA.
  • Manage internal payroll queries promptly and ensure timely resolution.
  • Focus on process improvements to enhance efficiency.

HR Administration Responsibilities:

  • Conduct HR inductions for new starters across EMEA.
  • Answer questions relating to internal systems (MyView and Dayforce)
  • Managing the HR EMEA inbox ensuring emails are assigned to the relevant person.
  • Running monthly reports for senior management.
  • Change of term letter (job title change, salary increase)
  • Reference requests for previous employees

Onboarding and Offboarding Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding new employees into internal systems.
  • Generating contractual documents, including employment contracts and offer letters.
  • Conducting right-to-work checks.
  • Liaise with Line Managers before the commencement of new employees to ensure comprehensive induction planning.
  • Processing leavers in internal systems and issuing the leaver's letter.

What are the qualities that can help you thrive as a Payroll Specialist?

Essential Experience:

  • Extensive end-to-end payroll experience across the UK and EMEA.
  • Experience in handling pensions and auto-enrolment.
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding process.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong ability to multitask and manage own workload.

Desirable Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience of using Ceridian Dayforce and/or ResourceLink (Zellis)

  • Salary of £30,000 - £35,000, depending on experience
