Plumber

Plumber required for our client, a specialist building services provider, who operate throughout the Hampshire, Surrey and Sussex area. They're looking for a plumber, to work around in and around the Hampshire area, with potential scope to travel further afield as and when required (Sussex, Surrey etc). The Plumber will be allocated work within a local area each day, to minimise travel between jobs. This would be for sites including: local authorities (reactive and void works), education providers in occupied student accommodation, commercial buildings, lecture theatres and offices.

Plumber Position Remuneration

• £37,000 - £38,500 depending on experience
• Company van and fuel card
• Overtime available
• Ongoing training and progression
• 23 days plus bank holidays, annual leave

The plumber will be carrying out emergency works / standing and repairing leaks, carrying out remedial works and also occasionally carrying out small installation / replacement works, of domestic and commercial plumbing systems including pipework, WC's, basins and showers / baths etc. in a range of sites, ranging from student accommodation, universities, social housing and office buildings. The Plumber must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing and heating, as a minimum. The Plumber must also be based within commutable distance of the main patch, e.g. Portsmouth.

The Plumber would ideally be multi skilled within general fabric works and building repairs, e.g. it would be advantageous if they could carry out plastering works, door hanging or basic carpentry etc.

Plumber Position Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 Plumbing and Heating or equivalent
• Based on patch, within commutable distance of Portsmouth
• Full UK driving license
• 3+ years experience carrying out remedial and repair work on plumbing systems, e.g. leaky taps, burst pipes etc.
