PPC Executive - Fintech
Location: Altrincham, Just south of Manchester – commutable by tram
Office setup – 3 days in office, 2 from home
Salary: Up to £40k base plus pension, healthcare, etc.

You’re going to be looking PPC campaigns for a rapidly growing Fintech/financial services firm with big budgets (millions a year), principally focused on generating new leads but also building brand awareness. You will be responsible for principally PPC,and a healthy budget in excess of £100k per month to deploy and optimise, but the role will broaden out to Paid Social and affiliates as part of a development plan.

This market is fiercely competitive, so being on top of your numbers and ensuring keyword bidding strategies are on point are going to critical to success, especially when optimising ROI. As some of the key terms can be really quite pricey. But as we all know, it’s not just about volumes, but also value. Especially when looking at audience types and ensuring those strategies are delivering the right kinds of audience. So you’re going to want to ensure you’re getting a decent return on that marketing investment.

About the Business

They’re a rapidly growing Fintech, whose roots are largely cemented within the lending space and offering solutions that cater to small businesses and businesses looking to scale rapidly. They’ve been steadily growing over the last few years and now with the appointment of a new CMO they are kicking off a new acquisition phase. Their target audience tends to fall through the cracks of the major financial lenders.

They have operations based in the UK and Asia, and operationally currently stands around 500 people. The business has recently appointed a new CMO who is undertaking a revamp of the company’s marketing strategy and creating new positions as they mature the company’s marketing capability, of which this is one.

You will be reporting to the Head of Growth Marketing and be a part of her marketing team.

Summary of responsibilities include:

  • Create, manage, and optimise high-performing PPC campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google, Bing, Meta and LinkedIn.
  • Continuously monitor and analyse campaign performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and scaling initiatives.
  • Maintain regular performance reporting and analyse key KPIs including cost per lead, cost per acquisition % and utilise data to make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and finance, to gain a comprehensive understanding of goals and forecasts.
  • Identify new lead generation channels to test.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the paid advertising landscape
  • Manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines effectively
  • -Create and edit dedicated landing pages using a CMS(WordPress)
  • Support the wider marketing team with creating compelling content, ad copy and posts.

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of a few years' experience in a similar PPC role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with PPC platforms, including Google, Bing and Meta.
  • Experience with large PPC budgets - £50k+ per month.
  • Familiarity with campaign creation, management and optimisation across key channels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
  • Desire to stay up-to-date with industry trends and continuously learn and improve
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) including tracking key metrics, managing tags and conversion goals.
