As a Primary School Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside multiple pupils in both 1:1 and group intervention sessions, delivering structured intervention and catch-up programmes to support their personal academic growth. You will also meet with the Class Teachers, SENCO, Inclusion Coordinators etc to review the intervention sessions held and plan action points to further support the pupils.

If you have future aspirations to become a Primary Teacher, then this role will give you the best opportunity to gain truly valuable experience before going on Teacher Training or a PGCE!

Primary School Teaching Assistant: JOB SPEC

• Primary School Teaching Assistant
• Assisting Teachers across EYFS, KS1 & KS2 classes
• Supporting the classroom teacher in preparing materials and resources for lessons
• Delivering structured intervention/catch-up programs to pupils (ALS, ELS, Springboard Mathematics etc)
• Working with pupils who have additional learning needs (ASD, ADHD, SP&L etc)
• ASAP Start - Full-time position
• £105 - £110 per day - Term time only
• Located in Tower Hamlets
