As a Primary Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in inspiring and empowering our students to reach their full potential. You will design engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our learners, fostering a love for learning and encouraging curiosity. With your passion for education and dedication to excellence, you will make a lasting impact on the lives of our students.
Key responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:
- Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum, catering to the diverse learning needs and abilities of your students.
- Creating a positive and conducive learning environment is essential for effective teaching. You establish clear routines, rules, and expectations, maintaining discipline while also encouraging student autonomy and responsibility.
- Recognising that every child is unique, you tailor your teaching approach to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Provide support to students who require additional assistance.
- Regularly assess student progress through various methods and analysing assessment data, identify areas of strength and weakness, to enable adjustments to teaching strategies accordingly to meet the needs of each student.
- Effective communication with parents. Maintain open and transparent communication channels, providing regular updates on student progress, addressing concerns, and collaborating with parents to support their child's learning journey.
- Nurturing students' emotional intelligence and social skills. Create opportunities for collaboration, peer interaction, and emotional expression, fostering a supportive classroom community where every child feels valued and respected.
- Embracing diversity and inclusivity, you create an inclusive learning environment where every student feels welcomed and supported.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with primary-aged children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
