We are recruiting for a Year 1 Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in S2 to work on a long-term basis starting after the Easter half term!

Your role & responsibilities:
- To work under the instruction/guidance of senior/teaching staff to undertake work/care/support programmes
- To enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
- To support the delivery of quality learning both in the classroom or outside the main teaching area to help raise standards of achievement for all pupils.
- To encourage the participation, the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
Non-negotiables:
· Previous and recent experience of supporting children within either a school/ private day nursery/youth centre or similar setting.
· Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills and knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
· Holds a Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, Etc.) or relevant experience
· Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
