Private Client Paralegal

Our Private Client Team have extensive experience and knowledge across a broad range of private client matters. The issues which they resolve and advise on can be sensitive and distressing for clients, so our team apply their professionalism and empathy at all times.

They specialise in a wide range of areas, including trust law, probate law, Will writing and Lasting Power of Attorney advice.

What you will be doing:

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Private Client Paralegal. We are looking for someone with ambition and drive to join our team. You are likely to have previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Paralegal and enthusiasm to take on a real career opportunity.

It is envisaged that this will be a full time role but we are always willing to discuss your preferred working patterns.

Your key duties will be

  • liaising with and updating clients, colleagues, and any other stakeholder, by email, correspondence, telephone or in person
  • completing all administrative aspects of a matter
  • support Legal Advisers in your team and to meet your individual financial target
  • attending client or 3rd party meetings, with or without the legal adviser, in and out of the office, and taking notes
  • drafting various legal documents and all official forms for submission, including but not limited to Wills, Powers of Attorney, tax submissions, and probate applications.
What you will need:

Skills and experience you will have:

  • ideally you should have knowledge of Wills, Powers of Attorney and estate administration
  • ability to manage your workload
  • a confident communicator with excellent client service skills
  • a high degree of efficiency and accuracy
