Procurement Specialist

We are working with an inspiring young, clean-tech manufacturing business to recruit a Procurement Specialist to support the building out of the supply chain in their continued growth. This is a great opportunity to become part of an innovative and passionate team.

Key responsibilities:

• Support procurement strategy implementation
• Develop, improve and manage procurement processes, including supporting Goods-in/out, Inventory, and ERP system development.
• Identify new suppliers to source the best products in terms of value, delivery schedules, sustainable practice and quality.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities from RFI/ RFQ through to contract signature and supplier performance review.
• Collaborate with the wider business as the main contact for all commercial supplier issues.
• Analysis of spend data, reporting and identification of costs saving opportunities.

Qualifications & experience:

• Procurement experience in a related manufacturing field, preferably automotive manufacturing knowledge.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Commercial and financial awareness including strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
• Ability to travel to meet with suppliers as required.
• Experience with an industry standard ERP system.
• MCIPS or studying towards.
