Job Title: Production Facilitator
Employment type: Permanent
Based: Newhaven
Salary: £37k - £40k

Job Context:
This role is a stand-alone position within the management team, and is office based. The position, whilst having a functional responsibility for the day to day running of the factory floor also has a wider brief to liaise with and prioritise, those departments that influence the needs of production.

Job purpose: The main purpose of the role is to maximise the throughput and efficiency of the Company’s facilities and resources whilst maintaining the quality of the product to meet or exceed, our clients expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct responsibility for Production, Test and Materials procurement.
  • Plan, co-ordinate and control all production activities.
  • Maintain the business system to ensure it displays relevant and up to date information.
  • Maintain an overview of Engineering and Mechanical design departments to ensure a balanced flow of information.
  • Resourcing site-work.
  • Reporting of KPI’s and communicating the requirements to achieve Continual Improvement.
  • Drive a lean thinking ethos throughout Production.


General Responsibilities:

  • Support and enhance environmental sustainability and health and safety objectives.
  • Maintain good working relationships both internally with colleagues and where appropriate with external customers and stakeholders.
  • Maintain a tidy and organised workspace.
  • Contribute to maintaining high levels of moral and motivation throughout the business.
