This market-leading, independent estate agency is currently looking to recruit an experienced Property Manager to join its friendly team in Kingston upon Thames.

As the Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a property portfolio, liaising with tenants, landlords, contractors and dealing with all property maintenance requests. To be considered, you should have at least 1 years’ experience within residential property management and have a good understanding of current lettings legislation.

Responsibilities will include:

• Dealing with any tenant and landlord queries
• Resolving all maintenance requests
• Managing your property portfolio
• Managing contractors in property maintenance
• Booking and liaising with contractors for maintenance issues, keeping all parties up to date
• Coordinating inventory and check out inspections
• Liaising between landlord and tenant following the checkout regarding settling the deposit
• Arranging and carrying out property inspections with tenants, before providing the landlord with feedback
• Processing invoices for contractors, service charges, utility bills for void periods etc.
• Ensuring system is updated with all communications relating to the tenancy or property
• Monitoring compliance tasks and arrange inspection Gas/EPC/electrical as and when due.

Personal specification:

• Previous experience within a residential property management role
• Proactive and positive attitude
• Confident to work independently and in a team
• Highly organised and able to prioritise workload
• Proficient in problem solving
• High level of customer service skills
• Professional communication skills - both written and verbal
• Ability to keep calm under pressure
• IT literate
• Full UK driving licence and your own car - essential

This position comes a salary in the region of £26,000 depending on experience, plus a discretionary £2,500 annual bonus. Parking is provided. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
