Property Sales Associate

Artistry Property Agents of Bedford are looking for an articulate and personable Property Sales Associate to join our team.

This is a key role within our growing and independent business and you’ll have responsibility for negotiating and progressing property sales and ensuring the smooth running of our sales administration processes, supporting the business owner and our Viewings Guide in marketing and selling some of the most unique homes in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.

We are interested in applications from people with relevant experience but can provide industry and company specific training.

Responsibilities:

  • Being the first point of contact for people phoning, emailing and visiting the office
  • Booking viewings, market appraisals, photographer and writer visits, ensuring efficient diary management
  • Being alert to new market appraisal and viewing opportunities to help grow the business
  • Previewing new listings with the business owner and our Viewings Guide
  • Obtaining viewer feedback and passing it on to clients
  • Updating clients on a regular basis
  • Taking offers from viewers, working towards negotiating and closing property sales
  • Progressing property sales - providing status updates to buyers, clients, and other estate agents
  • Preparing sold letters / Ordering property brochures, window display cards and board movements
  • Arranging the handover of keys to new owners on completion days
  • Ensuring the office and it’s frontage are well presented
  • Ensuring money laundering/CDD compliance (training provided)
  • Updating monthly sales and valuation reports
  • Occasionally hosting viewings - although at the moment this role is to be 80% office based
  • Sending invoices / Social media posts / Other sales administration jobs as may be required from time to time

The successful candidate will have:

  • at least 5 years relevant work experience
  • excellent organisation, communication, and negotiation skills
  • strong attention to detail
  • the ability to work independently and self-prioritise workload
  • integrity and a professional approach / the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • a genuine interest in architecture and design
  • a full driving licence and use of own car (mileage allowance)

Salary

£30,000-£36,000 OTE (basic salary of up to £30,000 plus uncapped commission, dependant on experience)

You’ll be based at our offices on St Peter’s Street, MK40 2NN. Our business hours are 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 4pm on Saturday. You may be required to work every other Saturday on a rota with the business owner, when demand for viewings is high and to deal with any ongoing negotiations (with a weekday off in lieu).
