In the heart of Bexley an 'Outstanding' Secondary School is on the hunt for a Psychology & Sociology Teacher for a September 2024 start. This is a permanent, and full-time contract.

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Psychology & Sociology Teacher who is keen to add value to an expanding Psychology and Sociology Department. The school is renowned for their supportive SLT, and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

The school are well invested into the Education sector setting new teaching practices, as well as training their own and new staff. It's an exciting time at the school!

Experienced Psychology & Sociology Teachers can take on a TLR such as KS4 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibility and more. Newly Qualified Psychology Teachers (ECT) will be enrolled onto the schools very own bespoke ECT induction, as well as work alongside a range of young & experienced Psychology & Sociology Teachers.

The school have said that there is opportunity to teach both subjects or they will consider just teaching one of Psychology or Sociology.

• September 2024 - Full Time & Permanent
• TLR available
• MPS1-UPS3 - £36,745 - £56,959 + TLR (Size depending on experience)
• Located in the Borough of Bexley

PERSON SPECIFICATION - Psychology & Sociology Teacher+ TLR

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
• Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
• Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
• You must be able to work as part of a large team of Psychology Teachers
• Must be willing to listen to feedback
