RM Recruit are excited to be working in partnership with a brilliant not-for-profit organisation based in Solihull who are seeking to hire a confident, well-experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis working 37 hours per week. Part-time will also be considered regarding this role.

Main duties include:

  • Posting invoices and purchase orders
  • Journal postings
  • Processing BACS payment runs
  • Supplier statement reconciliation
  • Managing petty cash and card payments
  • Bank reconciliation - oversee the timely posting of all cashbook transactions.
  • Managing aged creditors
  • Credit card reconciliation
  • Ensure the effective implementation and operation of the organisation’s financial systems
  • Assisting with month end tasks as required
  • Support the wider finance team, as required, to ensure a smooth operation of the Finance department.

The ideal candidate will be part AAT Qualified or equivalent with exposure of working in a similar role within a busy, fast-paced finance setting. You will be a confident communicator who can forge relationships at ease. You will be able to work well in a team and independently with the ability to prioritise workload efficiently.
