Purchase Ledger Temporary Role

Immediate start - Ongoing 5 weeks

Are you a number-crunching guru with a keen eye for detail? Are you ready to join a dynamic finance team and make a real impact? Our client, a thriving organisation based in the lovely area of Altrincham, is seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger professional to join their team on a temporary basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Match, check, process, and code invoices into accounting systems
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries
  • Manage new and existing supplier accounts
  • Assist with employee expenses and mileage claims
  • Monitor utility spending and liaise with utility companies
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient supplier communication
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Solve invoice queries and assist with general accounting duties
  • File and archive all relevant documentation

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar Purchase Ledger role
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong team working skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Numerically competent

Working Hours:

  • 39 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm with a 30-minute lunch break

Location:

Based in Altrincham, our client's office is modern with free parking and within walking distance of local shops
