QA Officer
QA Officer - Nutrition - Lancashire
A premium flavours company with a global presence are looking to bring on a QA Officer to run the lab. This is a great opportunity for QA professionals working in a quality driven expanding environment, with an outstanding global supply chain and logistics system. If you are currently a QA Officer, QA Specialist, or Quality Systems Specialist I'd love to hear from you!
Ideal requirements:
- Background in Quality Assurance
- People management skills / previous leadership experience is preferred.
- Internal auditing experience
- Good knowledge of BRC food safety
- HACCP
Responsibilities:
- Leading internal audits whilst maintain and reviewing the schedule and action log
- Covering for the Technical Manager when required
- Ensuring all standards in the company's HACCP and Quality Systems
- Lead for documents control
- Working with the Quality, NPD, and Production teams, ensuring procedures comply with BRC Standards
- Conducting risk assessments on processes, aligning business need with quality requirements
- Approving and reviewing raw materials and suppliers
- Taking part in quality meetings such / HACCP reviews.
- Assist with all external audits such as BRC, customer and EHO
